Session Drum Implants
Using close microphone techniques at Wellspring Studios in Boston, this collection captures the most natural elements of a beautiful set of DW and Pearl Drumkits. Renowned studio engineer Coleman Rogers helped us sample this kit using his arsenal of great mics, pre-amps, and compressors. After 3 days and nights sampling every drum and every cymbal, using different sticks at different velocities, at different places on the drums, we came away with no less than 20 DAT tapes of incredible sounding drum samples. Session Drums 1 -Download $ 23.95
12 Megabytes of incredible drum realism. All stereo samples, all multi-velocity samples (each drum and cymbal has up to 4 separate samples from soft to loud). Even the hi-hats are multi-velocity. We also threw in some extra hi-hat "shank" samples for hard-hitting rock tunes. Everything is laid out in GM keycaps so you can swap these kits easily into your existing sequences.

In the spirit (and quality!) of the very popular Session Drums 1, we bring you additional drums and cymbals from the same sessions. Session Drums 2 includes a gorgeous set of DW drums chosen especially for these sessions at the DW factory! All samples are stereo. 4 velocities for the snares, 3 velocities for the kicks, 3 velocities for the toms, 3 velocities for the Hihats, 2 velocities for the cymbals.

Session Brush Drums -Download $23.95
Nobody does these right, we finally did. Lots of brush snare hits, swirls, taps, strokes as well as brush toms and brush cymbals. The cymbals are stereo to give a rich overall ambience. Multi velocity snares, toms and cymbals (each drum and cymbal has up to 3 separate samples from soft to loud) for the utmost in dynamic realism. Boston studio musician Jeff Allison, former soundware engineer for Kurzweil Music Systems described these as "some of the nicest drum samples I've heard in a really long time. These are great."

A 12 megabyte bank of stereo cymbals. These cymbals came right off the Session Drums 1 and 2 tapes so they fit perfectly with those banks. Same room, same overhead microphones, same converters, etc. Crashes include 16 inch Sabian, 16 inch Ufip Experience, 18 inch Ufip Rough, 16 inch Zildjian. Rides include 20 inch Zildjian Custom rim and bell, 20 inch Ufip Natural Dry rim and bell. Splashes include 10 inch Ufip Rough, 10 inch Zildjian K, 10 inch Ufip 360 Experience. All stereo samples. Crashes and Rides are multi velocity.

Noise Pollution - Alternative Percussion Sets � Download $21.95
Performing artist groups such as Stomp and Blue Man Group have made a career by making music out of virtually any object. This art form blends sounds and pure creative energy into insanely moving rhythm. For this truly alternative percussion set, we walked six local percussionists into a commercial garage and gave them each a location and a set of objects (shovels, sledge hammers, trash cans, ladders, buckets, pipes, etc). As our percussionists banged and experimented with these objects, we experimented with stereo recording techniques to capture this event as naturally and pristinely as possible. The result is a multi-velocity, truly reactive, explosive and addictive tool. Bang on this!

Fuz909 Groovebox -Download $17.95
The Roland TR909 Drum box is a milky colored legend. We�ve taken this glorious piece of gear and played it through a tube preamp (for massive gain) but the fuzz comes from an Orban paragraphic EQ driven to the point of smoke (it still works). 6 velocity layers yield smooth edgy tones with a light touch, but play harder and it'll get really nasty. To complete the Fuz909 we�ve included a set of just over 20 multitrack MIDI groove�s. Perfect for mixing, matching, and designing your own loops.
